COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (November 7, 2015) Following a ballot of member coaches which closed last night USA Taekwondo announces that Jesse Kuhns is duly elected to serve the USA Taekwondo Board of Directors in the position of Coach Director.

The detailed results were as follows:

Jesse Kuhns 120 votes (53.3%)
Don Parker 105 votes (46.7 %)
Komiljon Latipov - withdrew

The total number of coaches eligible to vote in this election was 1095. The total number of coaches who voted was 225 (20.5%).

Interim Executive Director John Long said: “We’d like to congratulate Mr. Kuhns on his election, and welcome him to the Board of Directors. There is a lot of hard work to be done and we look forward to working with him to help move governance of the organization forward.”

Jesse Kuhns has been elected Coach Director for USA Taekwondo with immediate effect. Thank you to all coaches who voted in this election.
